Sara Rastegarpouyani

Sara Rastegarpouyani is Professor of Foundation Studies at Savannah College of Art and Design with MFAs in Art (University of Texas at Arlington) and Illustration (University of Tehran), and a BFA in Graphic Design (Ferdowsi University of Mashhad). Her professional experience includes roles as Designer/Artistic Director at Shabaviz Publishing and Koloon Design Group in Tehran.

Her creative work spans illustration, graphic design, and sculpture, with exhibitions including Vignette Art Fair, ART214 Juried Exhibition, and solo shows. Awards include:

• 2018 MFA Summer Exhibition Award
• 2018 Vermont Studio Center residency
• 2017 M.F.A. Student of the Year
