Sara Palma Soares is a Guest Assistant Professor in the Department of Social and Organizational Psychology at Iscte - University Institute of Lisbon. She is concurrently pursuing a dual PhD in Psychology at Iscte and Psychological & Educational Sciences at Université Libre de Bruxelles.
Research Focus: Her doctoral project investigates scientific learning through narrative/expository texts, examining cognitive factors in knowledge acquisition. Additional research explores cognitive control mechanisms in language processing and facial expertise development.
Teaching: Leads courses in Reasoning/Language and Perception/Attention/Memory for Psychology undergraduates.
Awards: Recognized for research excellence in social cognition characterization and neuropsychiatry.
