Dr. Sara Gandy is a Research Associate at the University of Glasgow, currently working on the MEaSURE project. She holds a PhD from the University of Glasgow (2016–2020) focused on Lyme disease risk and host community composition. From 2020–2024, she worked as a Senior Medical Entomologist at the UK Health Security Agency's Medical Entomology and Zoonoses Ecology team in Porton Down, England.
Her research focuses on ecological drivers of tick-borne diseases, particularly interactions between ticks, hosts, and pathogens. Key areas include:
