Sara Frödén is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences at Örebro University. She is affiliated with multiple research environments including the Center for Feminist Social Studies (CFS), ESERGO Environmental and Sustainability Education Research Group, and ReCEL Research on Children's Education and Learning.
Her research focuses on intersectional approaches to early childhood education, gender equality, and sustainability pedagogy, particularly examining school meal programs, gender-neutral dance education, and Waldorf preschool methodologies. Teaching emphasizes feminist and norm-critical pedagogies within the Preschool Teacher Program.
