Her research integrates human-centered design (HCD) and collaborative filmmaking to address menstrual health inequities in Nepal, Madagascar, and the U.S. She examines how caste, ethnicity, religion, and policy shape menstrual practices and works with communities to co-design interventions. She also explores the role of art in mental health recovery post-disasters and during the pandemic, including her course Can Art Heal?
Recent publications focus on menstrual stigma, migrant health, pediatric epilepsy data standards, and public health applications of HCD and concept mapping. Her work emphasizes community engagement, cultural responsiveness, and equity-driven solutions across global and local contexts.
