Professor Sara Dorow directs the International Institute for Qualitative Methodology while holding a sociology professorship at University of Alberta. Her research analyzes geographic mobility impacts through projects like Work-Life in Canada and On the Move Partnership.
Research examines employment-related mobility, gendered work-family dynamics, and community impacts in resource economies. She employs multimedia ethnography including photography and narrative methods to document lived experiences.
