Sara Desvernine Reed

Sara Desvernine Reed is an Assistant Professor of Interior Design at the School of the Arts, Virginia Commonwealth University (VCUarts). She teaches History and Theory of Interior Environments for both BFA and MFA programs, emphasizing research-driven design practices. Her scholarly focus lies in American material culture and art history, with a specialization in 20th-century Cuban domestic modernity through analysis of mid-20th-century Cuban magazines.
