Dr. Sara Chaudry is a Senior Lecturer at City St George's, University of London, serving as Director of the Post-Graduate Certificate in Counselling Psychology and leading modules in Counselling Skills and Understanding Mental Health. She also acts as Year 2 Lead on the Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology, providing specialist group supervision in CBT and doctoral research supervision.
Her research focuses on qualitative methodologies, particularly phenomenological approaches, with interests in:
- Experiences of sense of self related to sexual abuse history
- Intersections of gender, culture, and psychological well-being
- Mental health dynamics within the creative and performing arts
Clinically, Sara works extensively with adults and adolescents in private practice and at institutions like Istituto Marangoni, The Royal Ballet School, and St Paul's School for Boys, addressing a broad range of mental health and existential challenges.
