Sara Betancur Giraldo is an Education/Research Assistant in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology. Her work focuses on the intersection of autonomous mobility systems and fairness optimization, particularly in intermodal transportation networks.
Research Interests: Using rigorous mathematical modeling, she investigates accessibility fairness in autonomous mobility-on-demand systems, operational cost optimization, and network flow dynamics. Research Output: In 2024, she published a peer-reviewed conference article titled On Accessibility Fairness in Intermodal Autonomous Mobility-on-Demand Systems in IFAC-PapersOnLine.
