Saqib Aziz

Saqib Aziz is a Researcher (Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter) at the University of the Arts Berlin (UdK), based in the Institute of Architecture and Urban Design. Since 2017, he has served as a part-time lecturer and guest lecturer at UdK’s KET Chair, focusing on CAD software, visual scripting, and research collaboration. His doctoral research (since 2019) centers on Mixed Reality and 3D Concrete Printing, advancing digital fabrication and immersive design methodologies.

Education: He earned a Dipl.-Ing. Architect degree from UdK Berlin in 2016 with honors, completing a thesis titled *Navigating Parameter Space* exploring evolutionary algorithms and virtual reality in stadium design. Professional Experience: From 2016–2019, he worked at HENN Architecture in Berlin as a Computational and Environmental Design Specialist, contributing to competition projects and researching programming, mixed reality, robotic manufacturing, and 3D concrete printing.

Entrepreneurial Activity: In 2019, he co-founded and manages the e-learning platform *design upgrade*, offering academic support via the StudyGuide portal (https://www.udk-berlin.de/en/service/studyguide/).
