Saphiya Rajer

Saphiya Rajer is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader at the University of Wolverhampton, affiliated with the School of Education under the Faculty of Education, Health & Wellbeing. She teaches modules on sociological, political, and international perspectives of equality, culture, and education, while also serving as a research supervisor for the MA in Education program.

Research interests include education sector dynamics, social justice, social policy, professional identities, and religious identities. Her doctoral research focused on religious beliefs in higher education.

She collaborates with the Research Cluster for Readers and Writers and holds qualifications such as a Doctorate, MA, and PGCE in the Post-Compulsory Sector. Saphiya is a member of the British Association for the Study of Religions (BASR).
