Santino Raffaele Maletta is an Associate Professor of Political Philosophy at the University of Bergamo, Department of Letters, Philosophy, and Communication. His scholarly work focuses on contemporary political philosophy, particularly the thought of Alasdair MacIntyre, Hannah Arendt, and Martin Heidegger. He has made significant contributions to understanding Aristotelian ethics in modern contexts and the relationship between ethics, politics, and literature.
Maletta's research interests span Political Philosophy, Ethics, Philosophy of Hannah Arendt, Philosophy of Martin Heidegger, Philosophy of Alasdair MacIntyre, Modern Political Thought, Aristotelianism, and Philosophy of Responsibility. His work explores the intersections of moral philosophy, political theory, and philosophical anthropology, with particular attention to questions of responsibility, judgment, and the human condition in late modernity.
