Sannimari Veini

Sannimari Veini is an Associate Fellow at the Peace Research Institute Frankfurt (PRIF) and a researcher/PhD candidate at the Chair for Public Law and International Law, Justus-Liebig-University Giessen. She focuses on chemical/biological weapons regimes and their intersections with international law.

• Education: Master of Laws (University of Turku/Bologna, 2018-2022)
• Experience: EU Non-Proliferation Intern (SaferGlobe, 2021)

Research Focus: Chemical and biological weapons governance, legal frameworks for disarmament, regime interactions, and biosecurity-biosafety synergies. She contributes to the CBWNet network.

Publications: Co-authored key works on BWC Review Conferences and biosafety-biosecurity coherence.
