Sanne Lund Clement is an Associate Professor in the Department of Politics and Society at Aalborg University, affiliated with The Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities. Her research focuses on survey methodology, public attitudes, citizenship, social inclusion/exclusion, and children/youth well-being. She leads the Danish ISSP-Programme and investigates topics like leisure activities, sports participation, and public opinion in Denmark. Key projects include studying children’s discourses on well-being and the impact of the pandemic on youth sports participation.
She has received the 'Årets underviser' award (2018) for teaching excellence. Her work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in social inclusion and health. Collaborations span international surveys and interdisciplinary research teams. Supervised 2 PhD students and actively engages in funded projects addressing societal challenges.
