Sanjay Jain is a Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Accounting and Finance at Salem State University. He teaches corporate finance, investments, real estate investments, and personal finance courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels, while also serving on university and school committees and advising students.

- B.Com (H) in Finance from the University of Delhi (1977)
His research spans market efficiency, bonds, bankruptcy, corporate restructuring, and agency theory. He has explored these topics in scholarly publications and integrates them into his teaching of corporate finance and investments.
His publications include studies on stock return correlations with market value and default risk, as well as practical guidance on crafting winning proposals. These works reflect his focus on financial risk analysis, valuation, and operational best practices.
Professor Jain is also licensed as a Real Estate Broker in Massachusetts, complementing his expertise in real estate finance instruction.
