معرفی
Sangjun Lee is a Research Fellow in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Minnesota. His research focuses on neuromodulation techniques, particularly transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS), for understanding and treating brain disorders.
His primary research interests include neuroscience, biomedical engineering, transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS), brain connectivity, cognitive impairment, visual cortex studies, and in silico modeling. He employs both in vivo and computational approaches to investigate the effects of electrical stimulation on neural circuits.
Lee's recent publications (2023-2025) demonstrate a strong focus on the application of multi-channel tACS for cognitive enhancement and the modulation of visual cortex activity. His work bridges computational modeling and experimental neuroscience to develop personalized brain stimulation protocols.
As a Principal Investigator, Lee leads a project funded by the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation (2025-2027) titled "Brain connectivity modulation for the treatment of cognitive impairment using personalized tACS". This project aims to develop targeted tACS interventions for cognitive disorders.
