Prof. Sandy Tubeuf is a Professor of Health Economics at Université catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain) in Belgium, affiliated with the Institute of Research in Health and Society (IRSS) and the Institute of Economic and Social Research (IRES). She also holds an honorary visiting professorship at the University of Leeds, UK, and serves as the Academic Chair in the Knowledge Hub on Global Health within the CircleU European University Alliance. Her research focuses on Health Economics, Labour Economics, and Applied Econometrics, with a strong emphasis on health inequalities, resource allocation, and global health challenges. Recent activities include leading interdisciplinary projects on mobile health innovation sustainability and participating in a research residency at the Fondation Brocher to study health inequalities and lifecycle resource allocation.
Her work spans maternal and child healthcare in low-income countries, pandemic vaccine prioritization, and the socioeconomic impacts of natural disasters. Key contributions include methodological advancements in health outcomes measurement, particularly for children and individuals with mental health conditions.
