Sandrine Le Pors

Sandrine Le Pors is a Professor of Theatre Studies at Paul-Valéry University Montpellier 3, affiliated with the Faculty of Literature, Arts, Philosophy, and Psychoanalysis (UFR 1) and the research unit "Representing, Inventing Reality from Romanticism to the 21st Century". She directs the Master's program in Theater and Performing Arts and leads the research initiative "Body, Texts, Images, Sounds, and Objects in Play".

• Research Focus: Dramaturgy of voices, body-voice interactions in theater, youth-oriented theatrical creation, puppet theater aesthetics, and motifs of childhood/infancy in contemporary performance
• Artistic Roles: Co-founder of Elk theater company, artistic director of multiple productions, and creator of writing workshops for stage performance

Her recent work explores intersections between performance studies, dramaturgical innovation, and interdisciplinary arts. She serves on doctoral committees across Europe and is co-editor-in-chief of Plateaux 21 journal since 2025.
