Dr. Sandra Kouritzin is a Professor in the Curriculum, Teaching and Learning department at the University of Manitoba's Faculty of Education. With a PhD from the University of British Columbia (1997), she has served as editor of the TESL Canada Journal (2000-2006) and authored Face[t]s of First Language Loss. Her work spans language loss, neoliberal university practices, and transcultural research ethics.
