Sandra Klos

Dr. Sandra Klos serves as a Research Fellow at the Chair of Science, Technology and Gender Studies, Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU), where she conducts postdoctoral research for the ERC-funded project "Living with Radiation" since 2024. Her academic trajectory includes a PhD from the University of Vienna completed in 2024, focusing on members of the Austrian Academy of Sciences, preceded by doctoral research fellowship at the Austrian Academy of Sciences.

Her scholarly work critically examines gender as a category of difference within scientific and medical decision-making frameworks, particularly regarding radiation exposure policies for pregnant women. Key research domains include:
