Sandra Antelmann

Sandra Antelmann is a Research Associate at the Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften Hamburg (HAW Hamburg) in the Department of Social Work, affiliated with the Research Network "Care Transformations" since September 2020. Her academic background includes a diploma in Sociology with minors in Political Science, Geography, and Ethnology.

Research Interests: Sandra specializes in transdisciplinary, participatory queer feminist urban and sustainability research, feminist political ecology, and community economies. Her work focuses on intersections of care, gender, sustainability, and urban transformation.

Key Activities: She is involved in the Community Economies Research Network, the Junior Research Group Environmental Sociology, the AG GENAU*T (Gender Relations, Sustainability, Environment, and Transformation) within Gender Studies, and the Network for Precautionary Economics. She co-curated the "Common Spaces - Visions of a Sustainable City" project in 2013 and contributed to the "Precarious Everyday Life" research on care workers.

Teaching: Sandra has taught modules on urban transformation design, post-growth movements, and sufficiency/commons at institutions like HS Bremen and Leuphana University of Lüneburg.
