Sandip Roy is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Director of the Global Cyber Research Institute at Texas A&M University. He holds a Ph.D. from MIT (2003), following degrees from MIT (M.S., 2000) and the University of Illinois (B.S., 1998). His research focuses on cyber-physical systems, security, infrastructure network control, and network dynamics, with applications to power grids, microgrids, and critical infrastructure resilience. He leads the Global Cyber Research Institute, advancing interdisciplinary cyber-physical system research.
