Jie Li is an Associate Professor and Graduate Coordinator in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at Rowan University, Henry M. Rowan College of Engineering. His research focuses on sustainable power systems, renewable energy integration, microgrid design, and demand-side management. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology, and master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Systems Engineering and Electrical and Computer Engineering from Xi’an Jiaotong University.

Recent publications highlight advancements in multi-agent reinforcement learning for energy management, cascading failure analysis in cyber-physical systems, and green hydrogen integration. His work emphasizes minimizing environmental impact while ensuring grid reliability and cost efficiency.
