Sander Biesbroek

Sander Biesbroek is an Assistant Professor at Wageningen University & Research (WUR), affiliated with the Division of Human Nutrition and Health. He specializes in sustainable diets, public health nutrition, and the environmental impacts of food systems. His work focuses on developing data-driven models like the SHARP framework to align dietary patterns with planetary boundaries and cultural preferences. Biesbroek co-promotes multiple PhD students researching topics such as protein quality in sustainable diets, alternative proteins, and zero hunger initiatives.
