Sanda Munjic is an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto (Downtown Toronto/St. George Campus). Her research focuses on Early Modern Hispanic Literatures and Cultures, with expertise in Late Medieval Spanish Literature, Golden Age Spanish Literature, and Transatlantic Spanish Colonial Literature, particularly from Mexico.
Education includes a PhD from the University of California, Berkeley; an MA from the University of Colorado, Boulder; and a BA from the University of Waterloo.
Her scholarly work examines textual and cultural exchanges across the Spanish Empire, with a focus on colonial Mexican literary and archival materials. She contributes to interdisciplinary discussions on postcolonial studies, early modern globalization, and the intersection of literature with historical contexts.
