Sanchari Mondal

Sanchari Mondal is a Lecturer in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Surrey, part of the School of Sustainability, Civil and Environmental Engineering. She holds a PhD from the University of Melbourne (2022) and Master's from IIT Kharagpur (2017). Previously, she was a Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne (2022–2024) and worked on bio-inspired foundations and offshore geomechanics. Her research focuses on granular material behavior, soil-structure interaction, and structural health monitoring using advanced techniques like micro-CT imaging and optic fibers.
