Samuele Tonelli

Samuele Tonelli is a Research Fellow at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Mathematical Sciences (DIISM) of the Polytechnic University of Marche since January 2024. He holds a Master's Degree in Biomedical Engineering (2023) with a focus on Medical Devices, completing his thesis on passive exoskeletons' experimental evaluation using motion analysis and physiological measurements.

Research Focus centers on Biomechanics, Exoskeletons, and Collaborative Robotics. His work emphasizes objective/subjective evaluation methods for industrial exoskeletons, sustainability in robotics, and ergonomic improvements in manufacturing environments.

His publications (2024–2025) highlight contributions to exoskeleton testing protocols, comparative evaluation methodologies, and the integration of passive exoskeletons in real-world industrial settings. He collaborates with researchers like Cecilia Scoccia and Giacomo Palmieri on these projects.
