Samuel Touchard is an Assistant Professor (Teaching Focused) at the University of Warwick, Department of Mathematics. He coordinates the IM Dissertation/Project module and teaches courses like Games, Decisions and Behaviour, Applied Statistical Modelling, and Statistical Laboratory. Previously, he worked as a Teaching Associate at the University of Bristol and a Research Associate in the School of Medicine at Cardiff University, focusing on biomarkers in dementia. His PhD (University of Sheffield, 2015) explored Bayesian inference of gene-miRNA regulatory networks.
Education: PhD in Statistics from the University of Sheffield (2010–2015), Diplome d’Ingenieur (MSc equivalent) from ENSAI, France (2007–2010), and a Master of Research from University of Rennes 1 (2009–2010).
