Samuel Taffel

Samuel Taffel is a Lecturer in the Film, Video, Animation & New Genres Department at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's School of Film, Video, Animation and New Genres. He holds an MFA in Cinematic Arts from UW-Milwaukee and a BA in Film & Electronic Arts from Bard College.

His research explores the deconstruction of popular media forms, focusing on how moving images shape identity. His found footage films have screened at venues including The Kitchen (NYC), ChaShaMa, and Onion City Film Festival.
