Samuel Stabler is a Lecturer in the Sociology Department at Hunter College's School of Arts and Sciences. His research intersects the sociology of religion, cultural sociology, and comparative historical sociology, focusing on religious institutions' impact on political space development through New England’s Puritan missionary efforts. He teaches courses including Classical Sociological Theory, Introduction to Sociological Research Methods, and The Sociology of Humor.
Research interests include:
