Samuel Quinn is a Research Fellow at the University of Glasgow's School of Social & Environmental Sustainability. He specializes in end-of-life experiences for marginalized groups, particularly those facing financial hardship or living with learning disabilities and dementia. His work includes the participatory visual-methods project "Dying in the Margins" and ethnographic studies on aging in place for individuals with Down syndrome and dementia.

His research combines visual methods and ethnographic approaches to examine health equity in palliative care, with publications in Medical Humanities, SSM - Qualitative Research in Health, and BMC Palliative Care. Recent work explores trauma-informed care adaptations and the viability of visual techniques for end-of-life research.
