Samuel K. Asiedu

Samuel K. Asiedu is a Professor at Dalhousie University's Department of Plant, Food, and Environmental Sciences within the Faculty of Agriculture. His expertise spans plant physiology, crop management, and postharvest technology, with a focus on potato systems and biostimulants. Dr. Asiedu holds a Ph.D. from McGill University and has contributed extensively to agricultural research, particularly in stress management and food safety.

His research interests include tuber and root crop ecophysiology, biotic/abiotic stress mitigation, and sustainable agriculture. He has pioneered studies on potato cultivar adaptation, postharvest physiology, and the application of biostimulants in crop production.
