Sammy Muriithi

Sammy Muriithi, D.B.A., is an Associate Professor of Management at the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO), within the College of Business. His expertise focuses on corporate social responsibility (CSR), sustainability, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and environmental uncertainty. He holds a Doctor of Business Administration (Strategic Management) from Louisiana Tech University (2016), an MBA in Accounting from Troy University (2010), and a Bachelor’s in Business and Management from Egerton University (2005).

Dr. Muriithi teaches courses such as Strategic Management, International Business, and Organizational Change & Innovation. His research emphasizes the interplay between CSR, policy uncertainty, and firm performance, with notable grants like the 2017-2018 UCO Faculty On-Campus Research Grant. His work has been published in journals like Journal of Management and Governance and presented at conferences including the Academy of Management and Southern Management Association.
