Samin K Sharma

Samin K. Sharma is a Professor of Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, associated with The Mount Sinai Hospital. He holds an MD from SMS Medical College (University of Rajasthan) and completed residency in Internal Medicine at New York Presbyterian-Lower Manhattan Hospital, followed by fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Cardiology at Elmhurst Hospital Center and Mount Sinai facilities.

His research focuses on interventional cardiology, specifically transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), and clinical outcomes in cardiovascular disease. His work addresses complications like contrast-associated acute kidney injury and risk stratification in peripheral arterial disease patients.
