Dr. Sami Al-Hasnawi is a researcher at the University of Al Qadisiyah in Iraq, specializing in English as a Lingua Franca (ELF) and applied linguistics. He earned his Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics from the University of Southampton (2017) and collaborates with Prof. Dr. Hans-Georg Wolf at the University of Potsdam’s Institute for English and American Studies through the UP Reconnect program.
