Sameena Nawaz is a Diabetes UK RD Lawrence Research Fellow at the University of Oxford, affiliated with the Oxford Centre for Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism (OCDEM) and the Centre for Artificial Intelligence in Precision Medicine (CAIPM). Since 2019, she has collaborated with the Hastoy Group under Dr. Benoit Hastoy to investigate the molecular mechanisms of Type 2 Diabetes (T2D) risk variants in pancreatic beta-cell secretory capacity.
