Benoit Hastoy is a Principal Investigator at the Oxford Centre for Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism (OCDEM) and holds a Diabetes UK RD Lawrence Fellowship. He also serves as Scientific Director of the Centre for Artificial Intelligence in Precision Medicine (CAIPM). His research focuses on understanding how genetic variants associated with Type 2 Diabetes (T2D) risk affect pancreatic beta-cell insulin secretion mechanisms.
