Samantha Lindgren

Samantha Lindgren is an Assistant Professor in the College of Education at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, with a joint appointment at the Center for the Study of Global Gender Equity. Her research bridges Sustainability Education, Environmental Education, and Education for Sustainable Development with applications in household energy systems, sustainable agriculture, and global gender equity. She combines expertise in agricultural engineering and physics pedagogy to examine youth's capacity to drive sociocultural change through formal and informal education programs.
