Samantha Coogan is a Senior Lecturer and current Undergraduate Coordinator at the Department of Kinesiology and Nutrition Sciences, University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). She serves as Director of the Didactic Program in Nutrition and Dietetics (DPND) and has been a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist since 2014. Her academic career at UNLV began in 2014 as a part-time instructor, progressing to Visiting Lecturer in 2016 before becoming a Senior Lecturer.
Coogan's academic roles include teaching courses in human nutrition, sports nutrition, nutrition assessment, medical nutrition therapy, and community nutrition. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Sciences and a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology from UNLV.
