Samantha Bickert

Samantha Bickert is a Lecturer II in the Management department at the University of Nevada, Reno. She specializes in leadership development, communication strategies, and volunteer management within youth-serving and nonprofit organizations. Her teaching portfolio includes courses such as MGT 321: Business Communications and MGT 323: Organizational Behavior & Interpersonal Communication. She also teaches BUS 400.600: Volunteer Management & Leadership as an elective.

Her professional expertise spans over a decade of experience in leadership training, teambuilding, staff development, and program coordination. She holds a Master’s in Administrative Leadership (Adult and Continuing Education) and a Bachelor’s in Education (Youth Leadership). Additional certifications include the Community-Engaged Teaching Program (UNR), Boys & Girls Club of America’s Club Directors Institute, and a Youth Work Certificate (University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee).

Bickert has participated in the North Lake Tahoe - Truckee Leadership Program (2016) and focuses on community partnerships, service-learning, and conflict management in her work.
