Sam Turich serves as an Adjunct Professor in Acting and is a multi-disciplinary artist working as a writer, director, actor, and teacher. He concurrently holds the position of Head of Education for Bricolage Production Company in Pittsburgh, where he creates original theatrical productions, films, and immersive experiences.
His educational background includes:
- Master of Fine Arts (MFA) from Chatham University
- Training at the British American Drama Academy
- Undergraduate degree from Columbia University
Turich's creative practice spans experimental theatre and film, with emphasis on immersive storytelling and community engagement. His notable works include the Governors Island installation Daylighting the Stream, Bricolage productions STRATA, OjO, and DODO, plus Quantum Theatre world premieres like Gab Cody's Inside Passage and Fat Beckett. He also directed the Emmy Award-winning series Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood and feature film Progression.
