His research focuses on Diaspora Missiology, Refugee Theology, and World Christianity, examining how migration reshapes faith communities. He has pioneered frameworks for discipling diaspora populations and reimagining mission paradigms in the context of global mobility.
Recent publications like Asians in Diaspora and Diasporas in Asia (2025) and Africans in Diaspora and Diasporas in Africa (2024) reveal trends in migration theology, climate-induced displacement, and intercultural ministry. His work emphasizes hospitality as theological action and justice as central to mission.
As a catalyst for the Lausanne Movement, he connects diaspora leaders globally. While no scientific awards are listed, his influence spans theological education, refugee advocacy, and shaping missiological responses to forced migration through partnerships like the Global Diaspora Network and Edinburgh Companions to Global Christianity.
