Sam Demirkol is an Associate Professor in Strategy & Marketing at the University of Sussex Business School, specializing in Online Distance Learning (ODL). He holds multiple roles including Course Director for the International Marketing MSc (ODL), Undergraduate Admission Tutor, and Academic Misconduct Panel Member. Previously, he worked in sales and marketing across industries before pursuing academia. His research focuses on educational technologies, simulations in teaching, and economic development in developing countries. He has taught extensively across ODL and on-campus modules, including Global Marketing Management, Marketing Strategy, and Digital Marketing.
