Sam Carey is a Rumble Fellow in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Wayne State University, affiliated with the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. His research focuses on particle theory and nuclear theory, including lepton-nucleus cross section studies and isotope shift theory.
- B. Tech (Electronics and Communication Engineering) from Guru Nanak Dev University (2013-2017)
- M.S. in Physics (Gold medal) from LPU, Punjab, India (2017-2019)
He has received the James Kaskas Scholarship (2020) and an award for best oral presentation at the 2022 APS meeting. In 2023, he taught PHY2131, PHY2170, and PHY2175 courses.
