Sam Bass is an Assistant Professor at the Department of History, University of Toronto, specializing in Medieval and Early Modern East and Inner Asia with a focus on Mongolia, Historical Anthropology, and Historical Methods. His research intersects themes of Conflict, Violence and Genocide, Colonialisms and Indigeneity, and Gender, Sex, and Sexualities. Based at the St. George campus in Downtown Toronto, he holds a PhD from Indiana University.
