Catania Universityمعرفی
Salvatore D'ASERO is an Assistant Professor of Mathematical Analysis (SSD MAT/05) at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science (DMI) of the University of Catania since 2004. He teaches in the three-year degree courses in Environmental and Natural Sciences, Industrial Chemistry, Biological Sciences, and Civil, Environmental and Management Engineering. His research focuses on nonlinear elliptic partial differential equations of second and higher order, including degenerate problems with Muckenhoupt-type degeneracy, existence of variational solutions, qualitative properties like Hölderian regularity, and Lp estimates for solutions and gradients. He has organized international conferences, such as 'ISAAC 05' and sessions at ICNAAM 2020 and 2021, and serves as an Academic Senator since November 2020.
