Salomé Prat

Salomé Prat serves as a Research Professor at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), based at the Centre for Research in Agricultural Genomics (CRAG) on the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) campus. She directs the research group focused on "Light and temperature control of plant development" within the broader "Plant Responses to Stress" research program.

Her work investigates molecular mechanisms of plant adaptation to environmental stressors, specifically examining how light and temperature cues regulate developmental processes through genomic and physiological pathways. This research holds significant implications for developing climate-resilient crops and advancing fundamental understanding of plant-environment interactions in agricultural contexts.

Dr. Prat's laboratory operations are centered in the CRAG Building (Lab 2.09) on the UAB Campus in Cerdanyola, Barcelona, where she conducts experimental research on stress response systems in model and crop plant species.
