Moritz Ascher is a Researcher at the Centre for Research in Agricultural Genomics (CRAG), a joint research institution of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), based at the UAB Campus in Cerdanyola, Barcelona.
His research program focuses on Plant Synthetic Biology and Metabolic Engineering, integrating computational approaches to engineer biological systems in plants. Key interests include metabolic pathway optimization, synthetic gene circuit design, and computational modeling of plant systems.
