Mrs Sally Kearney is a Senior Lecturer in Policing at the School of Social Sciences and Humanities within the University of Wolverhampton. She serves as Programme Leader for the BA (Hons) Professional Policing and BSc (Hons) Policing and Intelligence degrees.
- Joined West Midlands Police for 15 years, specializing in safeguarding and domestic abuse
- Former Training Manager at Staffordshire Safeguarding Children Board
- Experience in complex tax evasion investigations at HMRC
Her research focuses on domestic abuse, child protection, and child sexual exploitation (CSE). Teaching interests include victims and offenders, police procedure and evidence, and sexual offences within policing contexts.
