Sajib Datta

Sajib Datta is a Clinical Associate Professor at The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA), affiliated with the Department of Information Systems and Operations Management (ISOM) in the College of Business. He also serves as an Adjunct Faculty in the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department. His academic roles include MSIS Graduate Advisor and Founding Faculty Advisor to the Mavericks Blockchain Society. Datta holds a PhD in Computer Science from UTA (2013) and a BS in Computer Science from North South University (2007), for which he was honored as a Distinguished Alumnus in 2017.

His research focuses on Blockchain Technologies, IoT, and Wireless Networks, with contributions to network performance analysis and real-time traffic optimization. He has authored peer-reviewed papers in conferences like IWCMC, WCNC, and PETRA. Datta actively collaborates with industry partners such as Komodo Platform and SmartChain LLC, emphasizing blockchain education and workforce development.

Teaching highlights include courses on Advanced Systems Development, Blockchain Technologies, and Computer Networks. He has received multiple Advisor Excellence Award nominations at UTA. Additional recognitions include NSF travel grants, the STEM Doctoral Fellowship, and membership in honor societies like Golden Key and Upsilon Pi Epsilon.
